Is the show suitable for children?
Absolutely. The Corrigin Show is a family-friendly event with rides, games, animal displays, interactive activities and entertainment designed for children of all ages.

No. For the safety of patrons, livestock and exhibitors, dogs and other pets are not permitted on the showgrounds. Registered assistance dogs are welcome.
Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
No, tickets will be available for sale at the gate. However, membership to Corrigin Agricultural Society gets you tickets pre-sale and ensures you skip the queue and don’t wait at the gate. Check the Tickets page for the latest information.
Can I leave and re-enter the showgrounds?
Yes. Attendees may leave and return throughout the event. Please ensure you retain your wristband as proof of entry if required.
What happens if it rains?
The Corrigin Show is an all-weather event and it will proceed in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by organisers. Some activities may be modified or cancelled in response to bad weather. Please check the forecast and dress appropriately for the predicted conditions.
Is parking available?
Free parking is available in front of the Exhibition Hall and along the streets surrounding the Oval. Please be respectful of private property and follow the directions of volunteers on the day.

We recommend bringing:
A hat and sunscreen
Comfortable walking shoes
A water bottle
Cash as a backup payment option
A jacket for the evening fireworks and entertainment
Can I bring a picnic chair or picnic rug?
Absolutely! While some seating is provided, many visitors bring their own folding chairs or picnic rugs to enjoy the entertainment and fireworks throughout the day and evening.
Can I enter exhibits or competitions?
Yes! Community members of all ages are encouraged to enter exhibits. Categories typically include arts, crafts, cooking, produce, photography, flowers and more. Visit the Exhibits section of the website for schedules, entry forms and closing dates. Entry is free.
What is the Gumboot Toss?
The Gumboot Toss is an event where men and women throw a gumboot at a peg in the ground, with the aim to land it on top of the peg. Nearest gumboot to the peg wins. Entry is free and open to all adult attendees. The event commences at approximately 4pm near the bar area and is always a highlight! Prize money is generously sponsored by Milden Hay.
What time do the fireworks start?
The fireworks display is scheduled for 7:00pm (weather permitting) and is one of the highlights of the evening entertainment. We recommend finding a viewing spot a little early, as the grounds can become busy before the display begins.
Where can I stay if I'm visiting Corrigin?
Corrigin offers a range of local accommodation options including rooms available from show sponsors the Corrigin Hotel and the Windmill Motel. As show weekend is one of the busiest weekends of the year, we strongly recommend booking accommodation well in advance. A directory of accommodation options can be found on the Shire of Corrigin website.
Can I camp on the show grounds?
There is no camping available on Show grounds for the general public. Powered tent sites are offered by Corrigin Caravan Park which is directly adjacent to the Corrigin Oval (within easy walking distance to the show).
Corrigin is also an RV friendly town and self-contained recreational vehicles/caravans may park for free in the large open gravel area on Walton Street for up to 48hrs. This site is located opposite the pub and offers access to public toilets, a playground, and the waste dump point. Nearby Gorge Rock offers another free option slightly further out of town. Please see show sponsor the Shire of Corrigin for details.
Is there merchandise available?
A limited number of stubby holders are available to purchase from show sponsor Katem’s Supermarket. You’ll find them at the counter for $6, subject to availability. Should any remain on show day, they will be available to purchase from the show office.
